Nancy Barasch travels the world with an ever lighter backpack, from her first 35mm camera in 1976, to todayʼs iphone, she recognizes the familiar tucked inside the exotic and visa versa. After graduating from San Francisco State University with a Teaching Credential, Nancy began her career teaching school in Los Angeles. She transitioned to a global cell phone company and as a multimedia manager discovered the world of computer driven training and photoshop.

Workshops at Brooks Institute, Yosemite, and Santa Fe nurtured her ascetic sensibilities. While living in Michigan, Nancy helped create “Resourceful Woman,” a catalog of work and play which was published in 1994. Her pictures have been seen nationally and can be found on numerous websites.

Her dual passion to travel and take pictures keeps her going.
